Just found this amongst old photos. One of my best scores at Keith Rifle Club in the early 1970's using standard martini action club rifle.

I was medic on stages for 10 years of the RAC Rally on multiple stages but almost always in Kielder. I remember driving in to designated position in various cars but in 85 it was a Fiat Uno! No problems getting there through the compacted snow but I could not believe the speed of the competitors!
