Except, LLM-gen'd and human-written code are different. One was written by someone with a mental model. Modified by humans with another mental model (correct or not), etc. The other is generated by statistical, stochastic methods with constraints. These are not the same.

I like this one. "It's just a job" sounds fine on the surface, but is actually a sign of an environment stuck in a positive feedback loop of contempt. Quickly becomes toxic.

Every AI coding article I read ends up promising big things but is always light on actual details or anything concrete. E.g. they'll talk about their specs and prompts but never give real examples. I think it's because if they did we'd see it's all bullshit and they're just spinning their wheels.

Our latest AI code checker sporadically fails my code due to a syntax error. The cause? Sometimes, for no reason, it gets the language version wrong. Gotta love non-deterministic systems in deterministic environments.

Trying to read up on best practice with AI assisted coding and it's mostly people selling AI tools posing their marketing docs as insightful blog posts. Problem is the content is hollow and handwavy, coupled with ludicrous claims, there's no meat on these bones.
