Seeing these two side-by-side on Steam makes me appreciate the original character design more. The new one is so... generic. I guess that's a problem with aiming for realism: real life is boring!

I haven't had to do this trick in a while, but if someone sends images within a Word file (shudder) you can chuck it into a file extractor like it's a zip and get the source files. It's a neat trick that I don't think everyone knows :)

In terms of UI I can often hear a variation of “it’s more immersive, because it has less UI” But was Persona 5 audience any less immersed because of its wild interface? Was there a lack of immersion with Baldur’s Gate 3?

Number 11, Arina Makihara from WakuWaku7! All the characters from WakuWaku7 are based on anime tropes, so you've got bunny girls, totoro-alikes, moody vampire-types and robot girls. What a fantastic and weird game... and a genuinely solid fighting game. #neogeonov

Number 9, Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade 2. Hibiki is an interesting character as she can develop a blood lust depending on how you play... stay calm with those super moves! #neogeonov

Number 6, Orochi from King of Fighters 97. One of the better "god" bosses in KOF. I never liked his design that much, but I loved how he transforms at the start of the round. #neogeonov (I'm really enjoying doing these, hopefully they're not too annoying!)

Absolutely the worst thing to provide an artist. Fluffy words and bad sketches are great, detailed "polished" work is over prescriptive ... and also, y'know, AI. What an insult.

AI has loads of problems, but one I keep seeing is how it's being used for the laziest things. "I'm going to boil the oceans because I can't be bothered to look for File > Export as PDF".
