Finally got round to watching Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and just hit Ep5. Incredibly tough viewing, in a literally unflinching one-shot for 33 minutes. Incredible acting, and such a big swing- reminded me that doing stage work is super important, you have to play the whole scene.

I’ve also been playing through Harold Halibut on PS5 since they added it to PS+, and this game is basically a Wes Anderson video game. Think Fantastic Mr. Fox in game format 😅 it’s very good, and the writing is amazing! The photo I added should convince you alone 👀🌭

This was one of the hardest scenes to do in Old Skies! I wanted to keep things subtle, reserved, while also playing the contradiction inside Fia- she's denouncing attachment to someone she's already attached to. The stakes on this were complicated, and the lines sparse, but I'm really proud of it.

Every part of Old Skies' ending made me cry and I don't think being given a choice would have that same impact. I also think the fate of a certain Spoilery character's fate being left ambiguous adds to the ending regardless of what you think happened.
