Thinking about how NYT won't let trans people write about ourselves because of "bias."

This reminds me of something I heard recently; cities aren't loud, cars are loud.

When you work for, subscribe to, and share the New York Times, you’re saying you’re fine putting your money into an anti-trans hate machine. That we are an acceptable loss to you. That we matter less than a business model that feeds on our suffering. We can see that part of you and it’s vile.

I think this is one of those things that's stunning, in all the worst ways, and most of them aren't obvious. Let's start with the basics: there are about 5.5 million trans Americans. This means that *nearly 10% of the entire trans population of the nation* has moved. Just Last Year
