This man is literally not even related to Renee. It’s her late-husband’s father! Seems to not even know how old his grandchild his. There is no good reason that’s been disclosed so far to be treating this man’s narrative on Renee as meaningful, just misogyny.

Seeing people centering Renee’s late husband’s *father* and his narrative that devalues her final political actions more than her gender nonconforming wife who was THERE working together with Renee to document ICE makes me want to scream loud enough to break all the glass in all the world.

Past a certain point you have to accept that *you are in a fight* and no we don't always get to pick when we're in fights and that sucks, but guess what, if you don't fight back the thug attacking you doesn't feel bad, you just get beaten.

ICE agents have raped & assaulted women. Samuel Saxon was charged with assault, strangulation and domestic violence. David Courvelle worked at a detention centre & sexually assaulted a detainee. Of course a woman doesn’t want to exit her vehicle when surrounded by masked men with guns.

The competition is steep, but I think modern border enforcement is the greatest evil of our time. Nothing reinforces wealth inequality, international AND domestic labour exploitation more, while also not being popularly contested in any meaningful way

What needs to be added to this is that ICE blocked a physician from having access to the dead or dying body of Renee Good for FIFTEEN MINUTES after she was shot. That, in and of itself may well have constituted murder. The media will gloss over this. Do not let them.
