A serious issue for me about being on social media is wanting to stay up to speed on news but also having to see an unending stream of faces of people I loathe. It's a miasma saturating the atmosphere online, and strongly affects my psyche.

This needs to be front and center in basically every federal election for the foreseeable future. Total war against this corruption. Everyone who took part in it gets fired for cause and put under permanent audit and investigation. Every judge who upholds it gets removed.

Go for it. I don't even care any more.

What's gutting about this is that Juniper seems to have had a family who supported and loved her, she was in a community that has been explicitly welcoming to trans people, and a man still murdered her. She was living the life so many trans people can only dream of, and it simply didn't matter.
