A 19-year-old UW student who is Transgender was stabbed to death on the night of Mother’s Day at an off-campus housing building. The young woman died alone on the floor of the laundry room. "“Every member of our community is invaluable and we cannot risk losing another," UW Trans Collective said.

Survivors of police brutality spoke at the Seattle City Council Public Safety Committee meeting this morning, and after months of providing public comment about needing resources and accountability, and being ignored, several began chanting: "We deserve a voice! We deserve a voice!"

As of now, UW is still allowing TPUSA to have this event on campus, featuring de-transitioner Chloe Cole. Cole has gone on Fox news and testified in hearings about why youth shouldn't receive gender-affirming care. A 19-year-old UW Trans student was just murdered.

A 19-year-old UW student who was a Transgender woman was stabbed to death on the night of Mother's Day at a campus housing building. The Seattle Fire Department rendered lifesaving treatment, but she died on the scene.
