I've often complained TTRPGs don't get cities right and I don't know if they can, because the key feature of a city is being unable to truly understand it, overlapping but distinct worlds layered on top of each other which are barely aware of each other and only tangentially touch #over/under

If nothing else, #over/under has been an incredible (and terrifying) lesson in how easy it is to spread misinformation, and how quickly you lose control of your messaging once you actually get someone to bite on your lies

I have found it's an extremely common thing to be on #over/under and be like "Who is playing this asshole character that I hate" only to find I have one of the player's books on my shelf or in my digital library.
