My friend Mike Spradlin passed away this last weekend. He was a national sales rep for my publisher when I met him, but he wrote dozens of books, most on American History. Here he is holding a book shaped like a puppy's butt that we got Slash to sign. Mike was that kind of guy. A good, funny guy.
