We have to hold about ten thousand people accountable for stupid bullshit. We are going to need another Reconstruction, and anyone who implies the goal is to sit back and relax wants us to lose.

We do actually have to fix the Court. We have to fix structural inequality issues that are squeezing the life out of the middle class (such as it remains) and feeding every drop to about 9 people at the top of the pyramid. We have to fix our democracy to guarantee real rights to vote.

If a Democrat wins the next election, we will still be in the fight of our lives. We do not pack up and say "ah, well, we fixed it, cool."
