The sheer number of videos of the shooting is horrific, but in the vein of what @prisonculture.bsky.social has been saying, it proves how many people cared enough to show up where ICE was and record them. It wasn't just one or two legal observers, and when Good was shot, they didn't abandon her.

Today we saw the devastating and predictable consequences of the Trump administration encouraging reckless, heavily armed agents in our communities to commit horrifying abuses. Congress must rein in ICE before what happened in Minneapolis today happens again.

We condemn ICE's killing of a Minneapolis woman today and call on federal agents to withdraw from Minnesota immediately. This tragedy is further proof that ICE is out of control, endangering our communities, and must end its lawless operations before anyone else is brutally hurt or killed.
