Talked for 1+ hour with my Trump-supporting grandma and succeeded in convincing her to call her AL representatives to protect a strong American investment in science and to end the chaos. Have these difficult conversations, provide detail, and you will be surprised of their power.

If the block on the Federal Register isn’t removed in the next few months, I fear a majority of labs will close within a year. This small procedural wrench has the power to kill US science indefinitely, losing an entire generation of discovery and innovation.
