The Trump shit video is basically this, but I will reiterate that if a Dem is critical of conservative voters it’s a generational scandal and when Republican pols literally post themselves shitting on their opposition virtually the entire elite politics and media class treats it as fine and normal

Look, I get that Wizards is all about making money like any company, but it feels really weird to see Magic's biggest fans, who have based their entire careers on the game, just be like "sucks".

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man. Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent. We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate. My latest piece.

We Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful Life
Influential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.

so close. been doing the same math. it’s actually E=mc^2 x tMG. multiplying Einstein’s equation by the commonly accepted abbreviation for my band unlocks the energy of people buying our merch, which quantizes the azimuth of us getting paid. the future is amazing

One thing I feel really smug about is that, when I was in school, people would insist to me that the Chinese Room philosophy experiment was dumb and wrong. But now with AI we see that it's incredibly correct and relevant.

My goto is to ask LLMs how many states have R in their name. They always fail. GPT 5 included Indiana, Illinois, and Texas in its list. It then asked me if I wanted an alphabetical highlighted map. Sure, why not.

Was talking to
@desktopmetaphor.bsky.social
about this. The goal for the Wizard Sphere is impossible, and before AI no one would be insane enough to ask for it. The big flaw of AI isn't even that it looks worse but that it makes people think you can just ask it to do literally anything.

this is a good thread but I might actually take it further -- I don't think manosphere shit is actually about getting laid, I think it's literally about male loneliness, by which I mean, men addressing their loneliness via homosocial bonding through misogyny
