Was gonna credit the modern Ultraman manga with having one good thing it added to the Ultra cannon, only to discover that Alien Zetton in a suit came from 1966.

I fully believe if more men did this for each other the world would be a better place.

Demonschool does this... kinda! Our backgrounds ARE full 3D, but for most of the overworld gameplay, we have a fixed camera angle... if there are no moving lights, we can cache the world to a texture and treat the whole world as an impostor, essentially doing runtime 'pre-rendering' i guess.

ICYMI: I made a stream overlay that looks exactly like Microsoft Teams. The number of people who have seen this and had a visceral negative reaction tells me that I executed upon my vision perfectly. 😇 See you guys at stand-up on Friday!
