Most of us don't see cars and the raging rivers of asphalt all around us because that is the sea we swim in. Choosing cars as our main transportation has pulled the life out of our future and our children's future: our health, money, nature are depleted. We have a choice 🚲

Did you know BikeLoud started a mini-grant program last year? Our first two awards were to fund Spanish language translation of BikeBus materials AND warm gloves and other cold weather walk/bike to school essentials for a Title 1 School in North Portland.

Serious injuries from traffic violence aren't tracked as quickly as deaths, but can be just as devastating to communities. They're life-changing. In PDX between 4x & 10x as many people suffer serious injuries as die in Portland traffic So far in 2025 44 people died on our streets. One is too many!
