Some have said that single-stair (left) has moved faster than elevators (right). A new build home in Montavilla for under $250k. It's quite modest, but it's fantastic that anything like this is being built now. This is a backyard which has been made into 2 modest homes. It would've been illegal to do this until just a few years ago.

What amazing timing for this news story, leading into tonight's vote on banning algorithmic price fixing tools for Portland rentals.

Councilor Avalos' live-tweeting thread about the state of Portland's Inclusionary Housing is worth reading. IH is now working in Portland because the program is fully funded - ensuring that we build mixed-income neighborhoods while also encouraging more housing production across the city.

We're supportive of the ban on AI software to inflate rental prices! Check out the rally organized by @portlanddsa.bsky.social this Wednesday.
