Even though I never studied abroad, one of the highlights of my time in University was meeting people from all across Europe, and it really saddened me that future generations wouldn’t experience that. I’m really glad that the UK is now beginning to chip away at the damage from Brexit.

In 2010s, new housing production in Portland's lower density neighborhoods was overwhelmingly very expensive duplexes. Opponents of reform pointed to this, and said that's all we'd ever get. In the 2020s, Portland is building new housing at price points that don't exist in west coast peer cities.
