I logged into X yesterday, and while there was plenty of discussion of the Super Bowl and the half time show… it was all viral content from the preceding 24 hours. Unlike Twitter at its best, X is useless for following an event in real time.

Listened to the HB4085 hearing on autonomous vehicles. One of the wilder pieces of testimony in opposition was that unlike a Waymo, an Uber driver wouldn’t discriminate on the basis of race.

I don’t think it’s helping build public support that there are no details or renderings about what this $600 million would pay for. Lots of educated guesses, but that’s all they are.

Aside from the morals, I worry a lot about the safety of these. Warehouses are designed with the assumption that the number of people in them are very low (which is fire marshals crack down on nightclubs in warehouses). A fire in a warehouse where people aren't free to leave is a nightmare scenario.
