You sound like an unhinged person if you in plain words describe what’s happening, but the Trump admin demanded Anthropic’s AI be able to kill things for it w/out human approval and also do mass surveillance. Anthropic said no, and now the admin is trying to destroy the company in retaliation.

This is going to make Dario Amodei and Anthropic resistance heroes and solidify Claude as "the good AI" lol. A branding coup for the ages. I'm sure it costs them tons of revenue for now but they're a lighting-money-on-fire company anyway so who cares

Just updating people on the state of various social media platforms. I think Bluesky has rapidly bolted up the "ability to understand sarcasm" leaderboard of late, after a slow start. We have found our sea legs and are interacting with little bits in a much better way than our microblogging peers

<bangs gong> That's the end of the USA Hockey/Donald Trump news cycle. We can officially close this one out now that all parties have learned the maximum amount they'll allow themselves to learn. All had a great time and we appreciate Brady Tkachuk for closing us out

There has been a bad-faith effort on the right and from within USA Hockey to paint this as "people getting mad they visited the White House." Some of that, sure, but lots of high-profile champions do that and it's a one-day story at most. This was about Kash's Make-a-Wish weekend and the sexism
