Reading life after cars, they describe how responsibility of the death of a pedestrian was shifted from systems to the individual. Makes me wonder, if my safety as a pedestrian is my responsibility, does that then give me the right to install bollards on my street to keep me and my family safe?

I felt so lucky that we were able to show up in city after city on book tour and have no shortage of amazing people who stepped up to lend us bikes, show us around, and give us the honest truth about where they live. Meeting local advocates always gives me a lot of hope.

So in addition to requiring insurance and registration for all e-bikes, including Class I e-bikes, New Jersey state Democrats want to ban the sale of e-bikes on the internet for a 1-year period. I have no idea how they would enforce that?
