The Station Smashburgers in Berkeley is a lot more popular since its revamp. Unfortunately, the pedestrian crossing to reach it—much-used by UC Berkeley students walking over from campus—is unsafe. Cars blow through while pedestrians try to cross. Someone is going to get badly hurt or killed here.

Our cargo bike literally replaces 4 trips a day. At a *bare* minimum, I go to daycare and back twice a day. Typically though there is either a shopping trip, kid activities, or a dinner at a friend's house. I suspect we're taking 20 trips a week with the kids on the cargo bike.
