MCBC is hiring! Both positions are remote (we do not have a brick and mortar office), but with the requirement that you be able to travel to in-person meetings in Marin County (i.e. you should live in the SF Bay Area).

This past weekend, the Sausalito City Council voted to reject half a million dollars in grant funding earmarked for bike lanes, new crosswalks, and dedicated loading zones. We are deeply disappointed in this shortsighted decision. See our full coverage here. marinbike.org/news/sausali...

The Sausalito City Council has an opportunity to install bike lanes on Bridgeway, one of the most-ridden roads in the Bay Area. The project will be taken up at a special meeting of the council tomorrow, Saturday March 29th, at 1 PM. Suffice to say, it's going to be a contentious meeting. 🧵

Breaking: BCDC has once again postponed the hearing on the Richmond-San Rafael from its planned date of April 3rd. A new date has now yet been scheduled. We will provide an update when we have more information.

Breaking: MTC has just requested that the 3/20 meeting to decide the fate of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge pathway be postponed to next meeting, on 4/3. We do not know the reason for this, but there are rumors that some sort of "compromise" is being proposed. I'll follow up when we know more.
