A new Dog Sitter has agreed to take Chester for the 10 Days we’re away on the East Coast so Chester is having an overnight with him just to see how he does. And I am realizing just how much of my life revolves around that dog. I literally don’t know what to do with my day off now. #DailyChester

You just reminded me of the observation in more than one Discworld book that a "dream come true" is not something to be desired. I mean, really, would you want *that* dream to become real?

kind of remarkable how true this is, so many major animal gods are just “person with an animal head” whereas folks get real creative with horrible demons I suppose we’ve all got a good supply of nightmares to draw on for the latter
