From My Garden This is the bait. For 5 years I've been trying to photograph a native bee, the Blue Banded Bee, locally known as the Blue Butt Bee. BBBees love the flowers of "Gheisha Girl"; Duranta erecta. The only problem remaining is that BBBees are the F1s of the bee world. 2026 is the year!

I learned this about a year ago; the difference just a little fill in flash does for flower photography. Drawing some language from my youth, the flower on the left looks like a female Ballroom dancer, the one on the right is more like a female Latin dancer. Same camera settings for both. Zygos.

Nothing to do with the folks/threads I follow but I think I have found a new, and drug free, form of stress relief. Just spend 20 minutes a day blocking vloggers/youtubers/ and ads for "wonderful/knowledgable websites". The positive feedback from an untainted feed is very calming.
