Why no pronouns? I began writing online when Usenet was a thing. I have always appreciated that online my ideas mattered more than my identity. I maintain that ethos by keeping this, my primary account, free of my gender, race and ethnicity. If you need pronouns for this account, use ze/zir.

LLM operators understand this is their biggest current problem and they are already getting much better. This academic year hallucinated sources will still be a tell. But I suspect that by the 26-27 academic year the best LLMs will still make stuff up but will always cite real sources.

I am amazed at just how inept the Democratsâ congressional leadership is on this moment of crisis. Trump is moving troops into blue cities and declaring war against the left, and these guys are complaining that the GOP Congress is pushing a partisan budget. Jesus Christ, wake the hell up.

Right, rather than try to shame Republicans for their complicity here, Democrats should simply state -- loudly and repeatedly -- that the Republican Party clearly shields pedophiles. They'll howl about it, but all of their actions to this point leave no other conclusion.

Safety, done, right, is not the enemy of progress. My agency had a big safety push many years ago, and IMO got it right in one important way -- our director was clear, he said "Safety is important, but isn't the mission. Safety is how we execute the mission."

If the majority of a nation wants their representatives to stop arming a genocide but those representatives refuse, it means they are not afraid to lose votes. By voting for the "lesser evil" for decades you didn't honor the right to vote so many fought for, you devalued the only currency you had.

The biggest contributor to rising producer prices is profit margins. After a year of tariff talk, corporate America thinks the country's softened up for price hikes, even if their input costs aren't higher. There's no way Trump will do anything about this. Wall St will get fat while you suffer.

Greedflation Is Back as Corporations Use the Tariff Excuse to Hike Prices
The producer price index had bad higher-than-expected numbers today. But much of the increase was due to higher profit margins. And why wouldn't it show that? That's what Trump wants.
