Trump’s pardon attorney Ed Martin claims Trump is pardoning his Georgia co-defendants and other “alternate electors.” Note: Trump’s Georgia co-defendants are charged under state law. The president can’t pardon people for state crimes.

Ed Martin posted this document — alleged to be a pardon from Trump dated Friday — on X tonight. It purports to pardon “all U.S. citizens” for efforts relating to alternative elector slates and “efforts to expose voting fraud and vulnerabilities” in connection with the 2020 presidential election.

Ed Martin, using his official DOJ account, is now promoting an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory accusing a former Capitol Police officer of planting pipe bombs on J6. Just yesterday, a post from the same account claimed it was “false” that the DOJ had identified Shauni Kerkhoff as the suspect.

Quick note about this again; the 100 mile zone has nothing to do with Border Patrol’s ability to operate. They can operate anywhere in the country. The 100 mile zone is ONLY about where they have heightened stop and search powers. It’s not a jurisdictional thing.
