The most extreme example I've come up with is in
#WESTVIRGINIA
, where a 64-yr old couple earning $84,601/yr would go from paying $599/mo to $4,898/mo. That's over EIGHT TIMES as much as they're paying today. (The example here is based on them earning $90K):

New: There was an "emergency" all-hands meeting inside part of NOAA today basically to tell people they have no idea what to expect re a potential shutdown. "Even less than usual," per one source. There is no guidance yet available and no info on what specifically the OMB memo means. So that's cool.

Returning to a subject I was discussing this morning on X, I think a single video like this does more to radicalize people against ICE than any loaded rhetoric any politician has ever used, and DHS should think very hard about the consequences of supporting this kind of behavior from its agents.

So let me get this straight. The Trump administration is bailing out Argentina, which allows Argentina to cut its export tax on soybeans, which allows China to buy Argentinian soybeans at a reduced price, so China does not have to buy US soybeans at all.
