If you wanted to tell the story of a guy who picks all the wrong allies and makes every wrong decision you can make while on a quest for revenge, there is probably an interesting story in there, but it's not what they made with Maul: Shadow Lord.

Conceptually, I like the idea of introducing kids to disaster preparedness through this kind of storytelling. The wildfire book could even be lifesaving if they have safety tips in there. I'm not as convinced about the molasses flood. Unless that's ultimately about workplace safety somehow.

Marketing awards season is always a weird time of year for me because my LinkedIn feed fills up with people dressed up at parties and cheering over having made the best dog food campaign or something, and I'm not necessarily jealous but it does look like fun.
