Maryland, data, cute pets. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Diversity IS self-interest. Monoculture is vulnerable to changes in resources or competitive strategy while diversity already contains the seeds of adaptive response. The only way to stop people from seeing this is to blinker them into a relentless focus on the short term.

I keep hearing that wholesale financial restitution for harms by the state are impossible and yet here's Trump proving again that nothing is impossible in this country.

9. If your hospital ended trans youth care, you will want to send them this decision right away. And if your city or state has nondiscrimination laws, they will be implicated now that Hospitals lose their justification to discriminate.

Notice how they never cite a study or statistic that justifies AI use in the classroom. Why? Bc there is basically no evidence that AI improves student learning outcomes (and they know it). Politicians are putting corporate profit ahead of student needs—a corporate-backed science experiment on kids

This is correct, imo. A Democratic administration successfully broke students' will to protest. They won nothing and faced massive consequences. NO ONE stood up for their free speech rights among mainstream pundits. Now they're to blame for the Biden administration's success at repressing them? No.

Seeing ppl circulate projects whose NEH grants were canceled by DOGE reaffirms my argument about AI as a permission structure. Some grants were canceled w/o a “no” from the generated summary. DOGE had a mandate to slash humanities funding & AI gave them the veneer of a rationale for their actions.

If you want to stop Newsom, build up his negatives with Black voters *now.* Emphasize how he keeps hanging out with racists and inviting them to talk on his show. Ask how Black people have fared in his California and how he’s responded to racism against us. What was he doing in 2014? 2016? 2020?
