I was working adjacent to the protest today so I didn’t attend, but I saw SO many crocs with white socks. So so so many. It felt good knowing if I needed a pair of scissors to cut a stray nail or an extra scarf cuz it’s still chilly out here- there would be 25 people ready to help immediately.

It’s so tucked away and *barely* close to the airport. If they actually start trying to traffic thousands of people through there it, it’s a knife into the heart of the town.

We don’t have to look at Nazi history. But a certain group of folks don’t want to look at their history on this very land. The role they played in a Native genocide, racism, prisons, segregation, redlining, lynchings, slave patrols, divestments, bombings, arson and so on, on Black and Brown folks.

Some great moments at the No Kings/No Ice event in Romulus. A Trump supporter had the nerve to show up and try to hand out flyers. He got booed so loud, he left. My flag twirling neighbor in protest was fun! And there were plenty of car and truck honks in support!
