1/ After 28 months of bargaining our first contract, @propublica.org management continues to take unacceptable positions on the issue of artificial intelligence.

I will never forget the day at work when Adam Lanza went to Sandy Hook elementary and blew away 20 kids and six adults. One editor was so upset that he left to get his kids and took the rest of the day off work. Another editor came out and said he expected the rest of us to file on time.

Even if Trump is "bluffing," the US may never come back from this. Whether you voted for him or not, the rest of the world sees this guy as our collective will. To everyone else, we are a landmass teeming with viciousness. We have a very high bar to prove that's not true.

This is incredible. Over 500 sociologists & counting have committed to BOYCOTTING the annual American Sociological Association meeting if BDS is not put back on the ballot. We reject the Palestine exception! Let the people vote!
