Today at 10:00am La Resistencia volunteers who observe the deportation flights informed us that today 21 people came off the plane to be detained at Northwest Detention Center located in Tacoma. and 32 people boarded the plane to be transferred and/or deported.

Víctor Manuel Arces has resumed his hunger strike. Today we received the following message from him: “This time my strike will be complete until I get my release, this time I will not accept going to a medical check-up because there they isolated me, tortured me, and demanded that I stop my protest”

We have new updates, La Resistencia was able to speak with Victor Manuel Acres today. Victor told us how he was sent to isolation and threatened to eat to return to his unit.

La Resistencia had a video call with a detained migrant inside NWDC. The family member reached out to us a few days ago about their situation. Last week, Friday July 1st around 9:00pm the detained migrant was attacked in their unit with a pen.

Today at 10:30am La Resistencia volunteers that observe the deportation flights at King County Airport-Boeing Field informed us that 44 people have boarded the plane to be deported or transferred. Nobody came off the plane to be detained at Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma.

Today July 13th at 3:15pm La Resistencia was informed that an emergency vehicle was seen at the Northwest Detention Center responding to a commercial fire.

Today, July 12th, 2025, the deportation flight observation team witnessed that ICE and GEO onboarded 75 people likely for their deportation, and 77 people deplaned from the aircraft to be detained at the notoriously dangerous and inhumane Northwest Dentition Center.
