Censoring a story about the outsourced regime gulag is not consistent with freedom of speech. But it is consistent with the belief that “free speech” is when conservatives can say what they want and when you can say what they want.

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans. 🧵 1 of 9

It's Day 19 of the ICE occupation of MSP. Today thousands of Minnesotans poured onto Lake Street to rally in support of our immigrant neighbors and against ICE. Take a moment to look at this crowd of you and your neighbors rallying in below zero windchill. 📸

When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

People have all these weird nerdy made up reasons not to like the press, they make obscure claims about them being "running dogs of capital", and "manufacturers of consent". I dislike the press because they are nosy and look into my various crimes and misdeeds.

The bullfrog in a tweed suit whose land I live on, came by to tell me they were busy planting this year's carrots. He proudly told me he still employs two gardeners, as his father did, though "only one maid." He then observed the rising spring sun and said "it's all diminishing."

Human beings are capable of believing almost anything if they feel the expectation of their community - that they should kill themselves for their emperor, that they should burn each other as witches, that they can be cured of cancer by faith, that their neighbors are parasites who must be interned.

Idea: AI = flying cars Helicopters are flying cars. But we don't all drive helicopters because 1. Energy intensive 2. More extensive training required 3. Other solutions are good enough for most cases Helicopters can save lives, AI can discover drugs. But using both all the time? Nuts.

Once again; you can't moderate your way to neutralizing an issue like immigration. It's fundamentally just racist reaction. Nothing is ever enough because what's demanded—ethnonationalist homogeneity—is completely unavailable in modern conditions. There will *always* be a basis for more demagoguery
