if you really want to take on a challenge: tomorrow, what if as many of you out of staters as possible text your friends and ask them to venmo you some cash for Minnesotans in need. they we will just venmo the families we personally know need the aid. if there’s extra we throw it in the big pot.

They should not have killed Good; they should not have killed Pretti; they should not beat up and mace and threaten protestors. But more importantly they should not have taken 5yo Liam. He had no agency as to where he was when he was taken. He’s 5. And now he’s sick. And they keep doing it.

North Minneapolis is very impacted but doesn’t always get the same visibility as the rest of the city. I loved the 5+ years I lived over north which is why I’m focusing on this fund this weekend. I’ll chip in $20. 🌻

Press conferences and social media posts have not changed conditions on the ground. Another person taken today off of Central Ave and Northeast middle school had to delay letting kids leave because of ICE presence in the area. The federal government continues to make our community less safe.
