Massachusetts folks: I made these stickers sharing LUCE's ICE hotline ☎️ 617-370-5023--they verify sightings and share confirmed info. Stickers fit 1"x2.6" label (Avery 5160). Image below or follow link for a full sheet. Print, stick every&anywhere.

The reality is that ICE and DHS actually CAN and ARE attacking people who are exercising their rights. I say this NOT to dissuade anyone from exercising those rights, but to challenge
@tedlieu.bsky.social
and other politicians to do more to protect those rights than post this kind of thing.

Respectfully, leaving abusive situations is not “letting the abuser win”. It’s a common, but deeply problematic way to frame any kind of abusive or hostile environment. “Just keeping taking the abuse” is deeply misogynistic

According to this FT article, Sir Paul Nurse says: “I’m afraid there’s many bad people around, but they have made scientific advances.” The ‘but’ in this quote says it all… So don’t blame us when we lose faith in institutions that regard integrity as irrelevant to designating scientific greatness.
