Stop treating difficulty like a personality test. Some people want the wall. Some people want the story. Some people want the world. Some people want to relax after work and not get folded by a skeleton with a stick. Some people already played hard mode all day. Let them have the damn game.

Some of us didn’t survive childhood untouched. We survived however we could. Books. Music. A controller in our hands. A party that stayed. A world that waited. Video games were never “just games” to me. Some kids had to save worlds because nobody was saving theirs.

I don’t do hospital selfies, so just imagine this is me right now and not five months ago. And while you’re imagining that, just know I appreciate all of you for the kind words, love, and support. You all mean the world to me. I’m better. Not great. But better.

Not every game you love has to become an argument. You don’t have to master it. Defend it. Rank it. Monetize it. Turn it into content. Explain why it matters. Some things are allowed to stay weird, personal, and yours. A hobby doesn’t have to justify its existence. Neither do you.

Heart procedure this morning. I don’t have anything profound to say. I’m just thinking about the people who made me feel seen, loved, important, and not so alone in all this. I love you all. You’ve mattered more than you know 🩵

Why waste energy being mad because someone enjoys a game you don’t? Let their 6/10 be a 10/10. Let them farm, parry, decorate, romance, cry, explore. Let them be bad at it. Let them have this. You don’t have to understand the appeal. Nobody needs your permission to have a good time.

Some people say it’s “just a pet.” But they’ve never watched an animal become family one ordinary day at a time. A routine. A shadow. A heartbeat. A place in the house no one else can fill. I lost Katie to cancer 4 years ago. And I’m still learning how loud a quiet house can be.

Jupi is obviously the star here, but let’s not ignore the photographer casually making humidity, curtains, and one tiny cat look cinematic as hell 🤌📸

Some people don’t feel like meeting someone new. They feel like recognition. Like your soul stopped flinching. Like the weird parts of you finally made sense. Like love walked in and said, “I know. Me too.” So when you find that? Don’t act casual. Don’t treat a miracle like a maybe.

There are no “guy games.” There are no “girl games.” Grow crops. Slay gods. Decorate the house. Survive the nightmare. Spend two hours picking the perfect outfit. Then go fight a dragon in it. Video games don’t have genders. The controller doesn’t care who’s holding it.

To anyone who feels invisible… Being unseen doesn’t make you small. Being overlooked doesn’t make you forgettable. Someone failing to notice your light doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. The moon is still the moon when nobody looks up.

I can love Bloodborne and enjoy Stardew Valley. I can crawl through nightmare streets covered in blood, then go home and water my little pixel crops like a responsible citizen. Gaming has range. Stop trying to shrink it.

This is why this community matters. You don’t have to play the same games. You don’t even have to understand why someone is screaming about a boss, a farm, or a 20-year-old pixel RPG. Sometimes it’s enough to see someone light up and think… hell yeah. I’m glad that exists for you 😊

5K is insane. I came here as a goofy little Moogle yelling about video games, and somehow a bunch of usernames became people I care about. Friends. Laughs. Kindness on brutal days. This place feels like home because of you. Thank you 🩵

I’ve been thinking about how rare it is to cross paths with people who make the world feel less cruel. Some of you became friends. Some were little lights passing through. Either way, you all matter to me. Thank you for making me smile, making me laugh, and for all the kindness and light 🩵

We don’t get forever. And that’s okay. What matters isn’t the years we have. It’s what we do with the ones we’re given. So leave the world better than you found it. Leave people happier than they were before you arrived.

Update: still in the hospital. Turns out it’s acute pancreatitis, which is exactly as fun as it sounds, which is not at all. I’m exhausted, hurting, nauseous, and still waiting on the full plan, but I’m being taken care of. Thank you all for caring. Truly 🩵🩵🩵
