renters get left out of the sign counts! in renter heavy wards like 7 and 10, signs are "land doesn't vote." and notably, jason really had no signs at all, just some rally ones a few of us had, i had one in my window and on my bike, and @wedge.live had both too and maybe others? but no yard signs!

Jason won Ward 3 precincts by 20 votes, setting up likely challenge to Council Member Rainville in 2029, when both of them will be in their early 80s.

BREAKING: Starbucks workers have just authorized a massive strike. Union Starbucks baristas voted to authorize the strike by 92%. Now baristas in over 25 cities could launch an unfair labor practice strike on Thursday, November 13th.

Congratulations to @robin4mpls.bsky.social who was elected for the 3rd time as Council Member in Ward 2. All of Mpls called Apple Valley for reinforcements to try to beat Robin, but there’s a reason no Ward 2 residents wanted to challenge the most productive member of City Council.

So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, @michaelforparks.bsky.social. My win is yours. I know you’ll continue to do great things, and I hope we get to collaborate again soon.

His energy and enthusiasm are contagious- when I was on Spiced Up Civics with @charliestdennis.bsky.social, he asked who one of my role models was, and I said Michael because of that vigor and drive. We need more people like Michael in our city and in leadership. People who care and give.

For everyone who is celebrating my victory, please know I wish more than anything that Michael could be joining me on the MPRB. Not just because we share common goals and vision, but because he is a genuinely kind human being. He and his team helped carry my campaign when I was in the hospital.

Personally, getting to know Michael has been one of the best parts of this election year. His voice is a powerful one. I told him last night that I hope he runs it back. But whatever he does, I hope you'll listen.

Michael ran a wonderful campaign, one that's about as selfless as possible. In my eyes, he centered the mission and knocked for other candidates who really needed it, incl. Jason Garcia and Ethrophic Burnett in the closing days of the election. Our city is better even just for his efforts. Thank you

When I started this campaign, I made a commitment to myself and to the people of this city that I would run with the values we share: honesty, integrity, transparency and care. I’m proud of the campaign that we’ve run, and I’m so thankful everyone who has held me to those values.
