So when I look at that comment in light of the one below, what he seems to be saying is that the CBRC will not take evidence or investigate any claims; it will simply hear each person's claims, and the CBRC members will decide which of those people they personally trust. Brilliant.

For 7 years, Mayor Frey has lied. He lied about no-knock warrants and Amir Locke died. He lied and said there were only 27 unhoused people in the city—facts prove him wrong. He even vetoed the Uber/Lyft wage bill after vowing to support it. Minneapolis needs a leader, not a liar.

A note on allyship, since much of the narrative about this feminist caucus thing I've seen is that I'm shaming people for trying, that I'm ruining would-be allies, that I - by refusing to shut up and take it - am the reason Democrats will lose. Notice how this kind of response favors the oppressor.

Members of the feminist caucus who were misgendering people in the meeting likely did so because they know their friends are the ones who run the code of conduct committee so they can do whatever they want without repercussions. One more reason that committee needs to be disbanded.

The letter is at 1000 signatures. I'm blown away by the support for trans people within Minnesota as we push our party to Do Better. I refuse to let this be quietly pushed down and hidden in the name of "unity" or "civility." I am not making myself smaller to appease a transphobic few.
