For now, it is important to remember two things: 1) these rules have not yet taken effect, and 2) it is illegal to discriminate against transgender patients in Minnesota. Transgender Minnesotans can still access the healthcare they rely on.

I am committed to vigorously defending Minnesota’s medical providers who do incredible work to treat and care for all Minnesotans, including our trans neighbors. I have already taken the Trump Admin to court to stop them from scapegoating the trans community. I will not hesitate to do so again.

Friends, we have some positive news tonight out of the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee re: the DFL Feminist Caucus. The TL;DR of it is the entire feminist caucus leadership has to either undergo extensive training, or resign within 10 days.

We have similar issues in Canada. I didn't have a Black male teacher (or a Black teacher at all) until I went to university. My grades were solid, but having that kind of in-class mentor would have been an invaluable experience.
