WORKERS: Fran wrote a universal paid leave bill last session. In 2027, we're going to sign it. Nobody should have to choose between taking care of themselves or a family member — when an inevitable illness or emergency his — and being able to make rent. This includes self-employed workers, too.

CHILDREN: We must fully fund our public schools — no carveouts for special education, and no special privileges for vouchers. But we must also fight for free healthy school meals and *universal childcare* — something we've researched very deeply and have a plan for.
