Say hello to our new modern fare gates! These gates are designed to improve accessibility, help deter fare evasion, and speed up entering/exiting a station. We're testing several types of gates over the next few months with the goal of eventually adding them at 150 stations across all 5 boroughs.

All aboard our first ever Holiday Lights Train! This festive train, covered in holiday lights and special holiday themed messages, will run from Friday, November 28 and operate through New Year’s across our system.

The Holiday Lights Trains are back! We'll be doubling the holiday spirit this year with the addition of a festive diesel train, bringing bright lights and spreading holiday cheer to even more stations! These Holiday Lights trains will make their debut on Friday and run through New Year’s.

Brooklyn's Church Av (B/Q) station is now fully accessible! 🎉 Accessibility upgrades include a new entrance, two new elevators, two new stairways, a new fare array, and a new transfer bridge with a customer information screen.

We’re making OMNY updates that will affect how you buy or reload OMNY Cards this weekend, from 8 p.m. on November 21 to 5 a.m. on November 22. You won’t be able to buy or reload OMNY Cards at retail stores for the duration of the upgrade, and OMNY accounts will be unavailable for a period of time.
