My heart is full after door knocking yesterday! Growing up, I would always play at 40th Street Park. Now I am running to be your next District 5 Park Board Commissioner, where I was born and raised.

We are heartbroken by the devastating school mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School that has left our community grieving during a time when so many of our families are already burdened by the ongoing trauma and pain caused by systems of injustice.

The On Tuesday, August 26th at 8:15am, local community leaders responded to reports of heavily armed federal agents at Corcoran Park. At least 5 undercover vehicles were stationed in the park parking lot. Agents at the scene did not disclose why they were there until they began their departure.
