Minneapolis- I’m so beside myself with feelings of gratitude and humility for the level of trust you’ve placed in me to be your next commissioner at-large! Workers and labor have has won. My deepest thank you to Union organizers and my fellow labor candidates who ran an incredible campaign. 🤍

We saw a turnover of 6 out of 9 park board members, ushering in a labor-endorsed majority. This is a big win for unions and the workers who make our treasured spaces work for all of us in Minneapolis.

Thank you to District 5 for believing in our grassroots campaign that advocates for workers’ rights, environmental justice, expansion for youth programming, and the right for all to have equitable access to safe and healthy third spaces.

Win or lose in round 2, I am dedicated to increasing voter turnout in Ward 5 and engaging my neighbors. I joined the W5 council race to do just that. Like all citizens who live in our beautiful city, Northsiders deserve equitable representation driven by initiatives made by them and for them.
