this is also easy to prove experimentally. Transwomen DO NOT dominate women's roller derby, despite being more common there than in any other sport, and if there *were* a sport that would benefit from the alleged advantages, this would be it.

At this point, anyone who engages with the question of anti-trans bias at the New York Times probably has to consider it fully substantiated.

He knew what playing Dumbledore would mean, had trans ppl tell him what it would mean, he considered not taking it… but did anyways. His desire to secure his legacy for cis children mattered more to him than trans kids lives. Ironically, this role is the thing that will most tarnish said legacy.

It’s really funny that he thinks saying this will help. It honestly makes me have less respect for him then if he had just pleaded ignorance of the whole issue. I wouldn’t have respected him either way, but the fact that he actively knew what taking this role would mean & did so regardless is worse.
