it's always been hard to get anyone outside of bigger queer media to care about trans people here too, but damn if it isn't getting worse.

Something I've noticed lately is how, in the shadow of America's increasing loud anti-trans rhetoric, every time there's a "here's what it means to be Canadian and fight back in the face of These Hard Times" there are also no trans people involved. Like our elbows don't go up the same way.
