As NYU Langone capitulates to threats from this administration and refuses to provide gender affirming care that saves lives, a protest outside the hospital on Sunday March 1 saw a number of elected leaders show up and clearly lay out the challenge and what they're going to do about it.

The billionaires’ kids will pay no price. But American kids have already died for a war of vanity and choice. A war that will result in hardline leadership remaining in Iran and no meaningful impact on their nuclear program. A likely moral and strategic disaster.

There should be an investigation & subsequent prosecution of any ICE officers involved in impersonating NYPD. The egregious, unlawful & inhumane actions of ICE & our federal govt were untenable to begin with. This is yet another instance of why ICE must be abolished and those behind it prosecuted.

Columbia says DHS entered a dorm at dawn today under false pretenses, detaining a student in violation of the law and university policy.
