The 25-26 Rangers look a lot like the 09-10 Rangers. Buoyed by OT points and one superstar carrying an otherwise anemic offense.

Laba, Perreault, and Morrow combine for one of the few bits of east-west rush offense we've seen in weeks. Speed and skill goes a long way!

I don't know how many times JT Miller has been stripped of the puck or forced a pass in the D zone corner this season but it's in the range of "too many."

St. Louis is basically a one-line team and they're going to match Trocheck against Robert Thomas and in defensive situations. The third-line will get sheltered shifts against a weak St. Louis bottom-six. I guarantee this is the thinking with Perreault's slotting.

I am desperate to see John Tortorella in Buffalo. He'd either abruptly end the team's self-esteem issues and make them a playoff team or piss off the star players so much that the franchise can never recover.

The Devils are primed to potentially do something reactionary. Team is sliding, Jack Hughes out, GM on the hot seat, fan blowback to losing out on Quinn is going to be massive.

The Penguins have 14 picks in Rounds 2 and 3 over the next three seasons. Mostly accumulated from doing nothing except taking advantage of teams that were either desperate or sleeping at the wheel.

Imagine going from playing with Sidney Crosby to playing with Connor McDavid. Or vice versa.
