This time last year I got back with a guy who - in hindsight - did not deserve my forgiveness. This is a hard one to re-read, but I stand by what I said: "Shame is reserved for careless, hurtful acts, I’ll never be ashamed of feeling hope."

We don't know exactly what happened, and if the guy hadn't tried to blow the synagogue up in the first place, those people would still be alive. This is still on him. But also, cops accidentally shooting people is definitely bad and we shouldn't pretend it isn't.
