Fine Gael have been in government for 15 years straight. Fianna Fáil have been in government for 62 out of the last 100 years. But it's the Green Party's fault Ireland is an infrastructure and planning basket case? Delusional and zero accountability.

Yep, you got it: trauma surgeons want e-scooters banned - for *everybody* - because some children misuse them and get hurt. I look forward to the same surgeons demanding the banning of cars. They cause much, much greater harm.

Surely nobody is seriously proposing to extend the scheme? Expensive & regressive, it largely subsidises EVs people were buying anyway. Invest instead in charging for people without driveways, electrifying high-mileage fleets like driving schools & building confidence in used EVs

"I don't think the way to help people transition is by berating them" weird they didn't say that about minimum alcohol pricing? Or no off license sites past 10pm? Or harsher sentencing for possession and refusal to decriminalize. Weird they're stopping solar grants. It's just weird!
