Thanks to everyone for the kind words on my campaign launch on Wednesday, it was the perfect midweek boost. Today I was my first canvas outside the North Inner City.

The Government’s latest effort to tackle climate change is simply not to mention it! The Department of Public Expenditure has dissolved its dedicated Climate Unit and amalgamated it was a range of other functions.

We welcome the Tánaiste’s reassurance that new laws will not make cycling without a helmet a crime. While using helmets is important for cyclists, this law would have criminalised cyclists rather than users of high speed motorised bikes, scramblers and scooters, and dangerous drivers.

This is truly alarming from a government who insist on putting climate action to the bottom of the agenda

So, I had some poorly timed issues with my account yesterday but I am delighted to announce that I’m running to be the next TD for Dublin Central. I want to bring a focus on community, care, and culture to Dáil Éireann, as well as tackling the climate crisis and the chaos of the world around us.
