Cork City Council has agreed to begin a new community-led e-bike library for city residents. The new library will lend e-bikes to anyone who wants to try one out in the real world for up to three months, with a deposit of just €50 — organised through local community groups, including sports clubs.

Thanks to Patricia Messinger and C103 for having me on to discuss the new e-bike library soon to begin from Cork City Council (from 52:25). Residents will be able to borrow an e-bike or e-cargo bike with just a €50 deposit — and try it out at home, on the commute or anywhere for up to three months.
